The 54-year-old actor, who played Samantha Jones's handsome young love interest, Smith Jerrod, in the HBO series and two films, steps out of a taxi, takes off his sunglasses and asks, "Did you miss me?"«
«"It's been a while since those, so to speak, tastefully designed billboards and a few late-night talk show appearances you may have seen," he continues. "Much has remained the same. It still looks good in photographs. I'm getting back to running advertising campaigns.".
When Samantha's doppelganger (Kim Cattrall) passes by, he remarks, "I still have a certain type of woman.".

A crew member then informs him that there will be sushi for lunch and throws him a roll, which he confidently catches.
«This time I was ready,» he says, recalling a memorable scene from the first film. «Sex and the City» , in which Samantha throws sushi at Smith during a confrontation.
«"A lot of things have stayed the same, but the drink itself has changed," he says, marketing Spiked Pop as "a strong soda in its purest form.".
«"If you like the outside, wait until you see what's inside," he adds. "It's a new era for handsome guys. The city is already looking better.".
Lewis, who resurfaced on Instagram in May to announce the campaign, told PEOPLE it felt like a good fit when he met with Owl's Brew founders Jenny Ripps and Maria Littlefield.

«"They pitched the idea well, and it was really sweet," he says. "And I was planning on getting back into social media anyway, and I thought this was a really fun and wonderful way to get involved.".
When he heard about this idea, he thought that all the references to "Sex and the City" »" - this is "very funny".
«"Look, if you can't laugh at yourself, you haven't really grown up," he says. "So I liked it. I thought they thought it through well, and it was a smart idea.".
Lewis says he is currently "fully immersed" in creating a fantasy book series.
«"It's a trilogy of trilogies that I worked very hard on, devoting a lot of time to worldbuilding," he explains. "And since they're all interconnected, it's important to map out the storylines and arcs of each one.".

Lewis says this creative project has been a long time in the making.
«"I've always loved stories and storytelling, and I've been writing for years without thinking," he shares. "It just took a long time for my skills to match my tastes.".
«"When I started this project, I had no idea how big it would be," he adds. "But I'd tried it years ago and felt ready to take it on, and I had no idea it would take so much time and so much of me.".
The actor says that TV series "Sex and the City" »" still resonates with fans because it had a "really good script.".
«"It resonates with us because it makes us think about ourselves," he says. "And I think that's why good literature stands the test of time. It's not just a momentary sensation; it touches something human.".

He also reflected on why Smith Jerrod resonated with audiences.
«"I think there was a kindness and sincerity inherent in this character," he says. "He didn't try to put himself above others. And he acted with sincerity.".
«That’s what our love for animals is all about: we can trust their reactions to us, and there’s no room for deception,» he adds.
Lewis says the episode fans cite most often is probably "The Domino Effect," in which Samantha refuses to hold hands with Smith.
«"I often hear that she was a fool and that I should stay with her," he adds.
