10 Strangest Recorded Human Encounters with Aliens

UFOs have been making headlines lately, so it's time to get to know the alien pilots. We invite you to check out the top 10 most ridiculous encounters with aliens.

10. Reptoids

The Reptoids, or Reptilians, are a race of bipedal humanoid reptiles. Depending on who you ask, they come from a world orbiting Alpha Serpens in the Draconian system, or they're right here on Earth, having evolved from dinosaurs and survived underground. Either way, they're considered malevolent.

In fact, most encounters involve abduction and rape. For example, one Mexican woman, a virgin, discovered she was pregnant after a "missing time" episode. According to her account, she spotted a UFO while driving near Teotihuacan at 11 a.m., then suddenly, without any memory, found herself 185 miles away at 2 p.m. In the following weeks, she suffered from weakness and nausea, and upon examination, it was discovered she was pregnant. Seven months later, she gave birth to a monstrous reptilian hybrid with "double-membraned eyes, thick frog-like lips, fused fingers," and a turtle-like shell. Despite her fear of the creature, doctors cared for its needs, which included a "diet of herbs" and incubation under infrared light. Three weeks later, it was raised by its mother "in seclusion." According to UFO theorists, reptilian hybrids (or "mestizos") like this are part of a long-term plan to infiltrate human civilization in advance of a full-scale invasion.

However, not all encounters with Reptilians are undesirable. Los Angeles jazz singer Pamela Stonebrook openly spoke of her "great respect" for the Reptilians with whom she had sex. Like others, though less reluctantly, she said the orgasms were "incredible." She disagreed with the notion that Reptilians are disgusting.

9. Venusians

Like Earthlings, Venusians (or "space brothers," as ufologist George Adamski called them) come in a variety of colors. Their activities on Earth, outside of their underground bases, include observing our species and working with our rulers.

Adamski claimed to have met his first Venusian, named Orton, in 1952. They met in the Colorado desert, Adamski said, recalling a sign-like imprint left by Orton's boot in the sand.

Another famous contactee is Miyuki Hatoyama, wife of former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama. In her book«"Very strange things I encountered"» She claims she was abducted and sent to Venus—"a very beautiful place," she said, "very green." Her husband, nicknamed "Alien" by colleagues for his "otherworldly mannerisms," appears to support her claims.

8. Insects

Mantis-like creatures up to 7 feet tall are frequently encountered in abduction reports, usually accompanied by Grays. They are often dressed in high-collared robes, indicating their seniority. However, their interaction with abductees is typically quite hands-off, usually limited to telepathic probing and stimulation of various emotions.

A notable exception is artist David Huggins, who lost his virginity to an alien hybrid named Crescent. During his encounters, he encountered Grays, "Hairy Guy" (like a short Bigfoot), and others, in addition to insectoids.

After examining the hybrid babies he had produced with Crescent, one of the insectoids led Huggins to a doorway pulsating with light. "It was like he was pushing himself out of the doorway," he said. "[The light] had a shape." Huggins followed the insectoid's direction to enter, and at that moment, he felt a light pass through him. When he awoke the next morning, he felt "incredible energy" that lasted for several weeks.

7. Andromedans

According to some sources, blue-skinned Andromedans share our genetic makeup and have guided humanity for millennia; they even appear in Egyptian hieroglyphs.

In our time, they have chosen a former US Army helicopter pilot as their representative on Earth—or so claims Alex Collier. Since the 1990s, he has been relaying their messages to earthlings. He told us, for example, that humanity consists of 22 extraterrestrial species and that the "Andromeda Council" is effectively the United Nations of our galaxy. To be fair, this sounds equally capricious. Some on the council want to save our species, while others believe we are too cruel and arrogant, especially since, according to Collier, helping them would violate their time-honored commitment to non-interference (Star Trek style).

But what makes this such a dilemma for the Council is all the alien interference to date. If they had left us alone, Collier said, we wouldn't be where we are now; all the aliens who visited (and often stayed) over the centuries stunted our spiritual evolution with foolish ideologies, ultimately culminating in the nuclear bomb. Further complicating matters is the supposed treaty signed by President Eisenhower, granting the Grays free reign over Earth in exchange for alien technology. According to Collier, the Grays are unlikely to allow Andromedans here (just as when countries shut down the UN). Even human governments wouldn't trust them enough to dismantle their nuclear arsenals.

6. People

Most alien species are humanoid in shape, but some are more humanoid than others. Lemurian hybrids, for example, with their dark hair and olive skin, appear to be very similar to Middle Easterners. Avegans from the world orbiting Vega look exactly like Indians, according to a Brazilian contactee.

So, birder (or plumber) Joe Simonton may have been one of these species in 1961. At 11 a.m. on April 18, he heard a sound he compared to "tires on wet pavement," warning him of a flying saucer hovering near his home, just above the ground. It didn't land, but as he approached the craft, the side "gates" opened, revealing three Italian-looking aliens in turtlenecks and helmets. They looked so human-like that Simonton estimated their age at 25-30 years.

One of the three handed him a metal container, possibly aluminum, and, gesturing, asked him to fill it with water. When he did as they asked, the other of the three, the one cooking on the stove in red striped pants and whom Simonton called "chef," gave him four 7.5-centimeter pancakes with holes in them. The Air Force, NICAP, and the FDA discovered that the pancakes were made of flour, sugar, fat, and (rumor has it) possibly an unknown wheat. The Air Force called the encounter "inexplicable," and Simonton went on the road with his story.

5. Nordic countries

The most famous humanoid extraterrestrials are the fair-skinned, fair-haired, blue-eyed Nordics, so named for their resemblance to Swedes. They are also known as Plejarans or Pleiadians, although some claim to be in contact with these species, insisting that the Plejarans and Pleiadians are distinct from each other, as the Plejarans do not belong to the Pleiades.

In any case, the Nordics, Pleiadians, and Plejarans are described as benevolent. They allegedly once tried to persuade President Eisenhower to give up American nuclear weapons in exchange for alien technology. Unfortunately, however, Eisenhower (as US President) instead signed a treaty with the Grays, allowing them to abduct anyone they wanted in exchange for alien technology without having to give up their nuclear weapons.

Eisenhower isn't the only politician to have had close encounters with Scandinavians. Another is former Florida vice mayor and congressional candidate Bettina Rodriguez Aguilera, who made headlines during her 2017 campaign by claiming to have been on a spaceship. As a youth, she claimed, she was greeted aboard by blonde, telepathic, robed aliens, reminiscent, as she put it, of Rio's Christ the Redeemer statue. There, she was told that "the center of world energy is Africa," that Florida's Coral Castle is an ancient pyramid, that every religion taps into the same energy, mistakenly personified as "God," and that 30,000 non-human skulls were discovered in a cave in Malta.

4. Orions

Like Nordics, Vegans, and others, Orions resemble humans. In fact, with their darker features, they are more human-like than others.

They are sometimes described as a malevolent race. Contactee George Hunt Williamson, for example (transmitting from Uranus in 1952), listed "evil people and menacing aliens from the Orion solar systems" among the threats to Earth from space. He said there were six "Orion solar systems"—the "Unholy Six"—each inhabited by "negative cosmic intelligences" seeking to plunder Earth's resources to replenish their own dying worlds. And apparently, they are already here.

However, a later report from 2019 portrayed the Orions as peaceful and caring, so perhaps they've changed their minds. Published in a Colombian newspaper El Tiempo , A report came from the small rural village of Guasimal. Local residents claim to have been visited by tall, dark humanoids since December 2012. They described these encounters as mostly frightening; the beings appear only at night, always dressed in black, and their voices strange and robotic. But in 2018, the visitors delivered their message: "People must love each other, otherwise the human race will soon be destroyed." The beings also claimed to have lived there in an underground base for 60 years since arriving on Earth from Orion. A police officer called by one of the locals partially corroborated the account; he saw silhouettes of tall, dark beings, as did ufologist Christian Ramos.

3. Alpha Centauri

The aquatic, glowing, blue-skinned Alpha Centaurians from our Sun's closest neighbor are said to live deep in our oceans, launching UFOs from their underwater bases and, depending on who you talk to, either maiming livestock or enlightening humans.

According to a woman who drank afternoon tea with one of them in 2022, they also possess strong telepathic abilities. She claimed they can prevent us from asking questions by inducing "brain fog." This helps steer conversations toward the most important issues, such as (in this case) which internet service provider we use. Apparently, the Alpha Centaurians strongly recommend Starlink and speak highly of its founder, Elon Musk, who, they say, spends much of his time pursuing business off-world. "Elon Musk is destined to do great things for humanity," said the alien, whose species allegedly belongs to the "Galactic Federation of Worlds.".

2. Gray

Despite their humanoid appearance, the Grays—with their pale gray skin, large black eyes, and hairless heads larger than their bodies—are essentially the opposite of humans. UFO lore explains this as an adaptation to life underground after the destruction of their planet's surface by nuclear weapons. Initially, the Grays looked roughly like us, only with larger eyes. It is said that their interest in experimenting on humans lies in restoring the capacity for emotion.

Like the most frequently reported alien species, there are many strange encounters. But few come close to explosives engineer Philip Schneider. In the 1970s, while helping build an underground military base in Dulce, New Mexico, he came face to face with 7-foot-tall aliens. For some reason, he had a pistol and opened fire, killing two, while the third fired a plasma ball in return, severing several of his own fingers. Although Schneider was saved by a Green Beret soldier, 60 people died, including that same Green Beret. And, according to Schneider, the war still rages to this day.

Dulce is just one of nearly 1,500 such bases worldwide, each funded by secret "black budgets," and many of them are arenas for military operations. Another well-known example from the US's alleged portfolio of 129 underground alien bases is the base in Groom Lake, Nevada: Area 51. According to former employee Bob Lazar, there was also a shootout with the Grays there—it erupted when a human guard told the Grays not to enter the Gray-controlled area with loaded weapons. Another shootout at Dulce began similarly, when people refused to remove bullets from their guns when ordered to do so by Grays.

1. Martians

While the term "Martian" was historically a catch-all term, it now refers to something specific: two-foot-tall humanoids from Mars. According to UFO lore, they were the dominant species on our neighboring planet three billion years ago, perhaps due to their bulbous brains. They are also known as "gnomes" or "dwarves" and communicate through music or telepathy.

Perhaps the strangest report comes from an English housewife. One morning in early January 1979, after her husband had left for work, she noticed a light outside. To her surprise, it emanated from a giant orange sphere above the garage. While she and her dog watched from inside (until the dog fell over unconscious), three winged gnomes flew past her into the living room.

She herself felt cold and weak, but she followed them and saw two of them shaking the Christmas tree, knocking the fairy to the floor. Each wore a helmet with a flashlight on top. None of them had fingers or toes. Their limbs simply tapered to their tips, but somehow they were able to lift objects around the room. When the housewife was finally paralyzed, the Martians began to speak in hoarse male voices in unison: "Beautiful?" Then she could move. At first, they didn't answer her questions, simply repeating them back and running around the room, jumping on the couch. If they didn't like what she was saying, they would shoot a beam from their helmets at her forehead, causing temporary blindness and paralysis. However, they relented when she told them it hurt. They also began to answer questions, such as where they were from ("heaven"). They even asked their own questions, such as about the picture of Jesus on the wall, the queen, housewives, and children. They also asked for water, which she duly brought on a tray with some mince pies. When they each had a glass, she raised hers, and they raised theirs, but when they saw her looking at them, they blinded her again. When her sight returned, she considered offering them cigarettes, as they had shown interest in the box; but when she lit one, they recoiled in fear.

Eventually, a loud noise outside announced the orange sphere's return, and the Martians "pressed their arms to their sides... rose," pressing buttons on their chests, and "slipped out"—each with a meat pie in hand (or on the dots at the ends of their arms). The housewife collapsed in pain on the couch and lay unconscious for the rest of the day. When she awoke, neither her watch, radio, nor television worked, nor did the tapes the Martians had touched.
