«¿ Donde esta la biblioteca? »" — that's how Deadpool pronounces it in the film. «Deadpool 2. This is basic Spanish, as you'll know if you've seen the movie. But it definitely doesn't mean "I don't bargain, motherfucker!" as Deadpool translates it. The phrase literally translates to "Where's the library?" and is one of the simplest phrases learned in Spanish in high school. «Deadpool 2» There are many similar scenes with hidden meanings and intriguing behind-the-scenes stories. We know the Merc with the Mouth could have had a child because Wade and Vanessa begin planning for a baby early in the film, before Vanessa is shot. She tells him, "The baby factory is open." They plan to name their child "May" if it's a girl and "Connor" if it's a boy. This never happens. Originally, Deadpool was supposed to be the father. 2. After Ryan Reynolds saw Rob Delaney in Casualty (2015), he personally offered him the role of Peter in the film.
Ryan Reynolds offered Rob Delaney the role of Peter, a diabetic who joins X-Force but dies trying to save Zeitgeist, because Reynolds was impressed by Delaney's work in Casualty. Reynolds said they couldn't afford to have another actor voice Juggernaut because they ran out of budget, so he did it himself. Matt Damon, known for his cameo appearances, plays a role in Deadpool 2 that's hard to miss. Wearing four hours of makeup, a wig, a fake beer belly, and a hat, Damon plays Redneck #1. He's talking to another Redneck (#2), played by actor Alan Tudyk. They're in the back of a truck, discussing the ineffectiveness of toilet paper and the proper way to wipe. 5. Brad Pitt agreed to a cameo role in Deadpool 2 for just a minimum daily wage and a cup of coffee, which Deadpool would personally deliver to him.
For his role as the Vanishing Man, who remains invisible throughout the film except for his dying scenes, Brad Pitt didn't ask for a fortune for his cameo role. He simply asked for "payment" and a specific cup of Starbucks coffee, delivered by Ryan Reynolds himself. The "payment," meaning the minimum daily rate for filming, could be around a thousand dollars at the time. 8. When Wade assembles X-Force to rescue Russell, he stabs almost all the photos with a knife to pin them to the corkboard, except for Domino's. He pins hers with a white pushpin. This is a subtle reference to Domino and Deadpool being the only survivors of the parachute jump.
It was brutal. As Deadpool recruits people to join X-Force, we see him use a knife to pin photos of the chosen few—Peter, Shatterstar, Vanisher, Bedlam, and Zeitgeist—to a corkboard. For Domino, he uses a pushpin. We see how later in the film, the team parachutes out of a plane and meets a horrific, fatal death. Only Deadpool and Domino make it to the scene of the battle to rescue Russell, aka Firefist, from a convoy transporting him and other prisoners (including Juggernaut) to another prison, and save him from Cable. 9. Over a child's drawing of Deadpool's plan of action with the X-Force team, a picture of Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman) is displayed in the DMC prison, labeled "Prisoner 24601." This is Jean Valjean's prison number. «Les Miserables »", also played by Jackman.
The film made several references to Wolverine and Hugh Jackman. One is at the very beginning, where a music box is shown playing the scene of Wolverine's death in Logan. Another reference is in the blueprint Deadpool draws for their rescue mission, where he labels Russell, the mutant child they are trying to save, as "Prisoner 24601." 10. When the members of Deadpool's X-Force team "jump" out of the plane, they form a symbolic "X" in the air.
After Peter is pushed out of the plane by Deadpool, and when Deadpool jumps last and joins the team, we see the seven X-Force members form the letter "X." Deadpool repeatedly mentions in the film that the name "X-Men" is sexist and "X-Force" is gender-neutral. Unfortunately, only two survive the jump, and they make it to the rescue mission.
