Rolling Stones legend Keith Richards has added another title to his long list of accomplishments: great-grandfather.
The 82-year-old rock icon is celebrating a happy family event: his granddaughter Ella Richards announced the birth of her first child, a girl named Luna.
Ella, who turned 30 this weekend, shared the happy news with her fans on Instagram, posting a touching photo of herself lying next to her newborn daughter on a blanket. "30!! The best birthday with our little Luna," she captioned the sweet photo.

The birth of baby Luna marks a new chapter in the history of one of rock music's most famous families and officially makes Keith a great-grandfather for the first time in his life.
Luna is the first child of model Ella and her longtime boyfriend Sacha von Bismarck, a 31-year-old photographer from one of Europe's most famous aristocratic families.
The couple's happy news sparked a wave of love from friends and family, including several prominent figures from social and fashion circles.

The pregnancy news comes just a few months after Ella announced her pregnancy. Back in March, the Burberry model shared a striking black-and-white photo showing off her growing bump, delighting her followers and sparking an emotional reaction from her famous grandfather.
In response to the announcement, Keith wrote, "Sending my love and looking forward to the arrival of my first great-grandchild!"«
For Keith, family has always remained at the center of his life, despite decades spent touring the world as one of rock's most legendary performers.
Ella is the daughter of Marlon Richards, Keith's eldest son from his long-term relationship with actress and model Anita Pallenberg, who died in 2017 at the age of 75. Her mother is former model and stylist Lucie de la Falaise, whose aunt was the legendary fashion muse Loulou de la Falaise.

Over the years, Ella has occasionally provided rare glimpses into the lives of the famously eccentric Richards family.
In an interview with Tatler magazine after appearing on its 2023 cover, she described her grandfather as a man completely at odds with his public image as a party animal. "He's very quiet, sweet, and loving," she said. "He's much more shy than people think.".
She also recalled the free-spirited atmosphere in the family where she grew up. "My grandfather wore my grandmother's clothes, and she wore his," she recalled. "Most of my family members are a little crazy, eccentric, or weird. My whole family is crazy creative. Nobody's into science. Everyone's wild and free-spirited.".

Ella and Sasha confirmed their relationship in early 2023 when she revealed that he photographed her for the cover of Tatler magazine.
«"It was very easy," she said at the time. "I feel very comfortable with him photographing me, and it's a very personal moment.".
Sasha himself comes from a noble family. He is the younger brother of Count Nikolai von Bismarck, photographer and former boyfriend of Kate Moss, and a direct descendant of Otto von Bismarck, the 19th-century German statesman credited with unifying Germany.
Fashion has always played an important role in Ella's life. She made her New York Fashion Week debut at 18 and quickly landed a major Burberry campaign, shot by Mario Testino, alongside Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Cara Delevingne, and Jourdan Dunn.
She later joined the Kate Moss Agency, run by her godmother Kate, and has since walked for luxury brands such as Prada, Calvin Klein, Fendi and Valentino.
«"I'm very lucky to have someone who's been through it all and can guide me," Ella previously said of Kate. "I can talk to her about things, and she understands completely. I don't need to explain anything.".
Keith became the second active member of The Rolling Stones to be named a great-grandfather. His bandmate, Sir Mick Jagger, became a father in 2014 when his granddaughter, Assisi Jackson, became a mother.
The happy family news comes at an exciting time for the legendary band. The Rolling Stones are preparing to release their long-awaited 25th studio album, Foreign Tongues, in July. The album will reportedly feature contributions from Sir Paul McCartney, Robert Smith, Steve Winwood, and recordings by the band's late drummer, Charlie Watts.
