37-year-old magazine model Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in the latest episode of the series PEOPLE «WAG World» spoke about her return to the PGA Tour after her husband, Brooks Koepka, made the controversial decision to play for LIV Golf in 2022.

Koepka, who faced criticism for his decision to play in a men's golf league funded by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), left LIV Golf in December 2025 after four seasons with a competing league. He made his first PGA Tour start of the year in January at the Farmers Insurance Open and finished 56th.
While Sims is excited about the upcoming new phase in her husband's life, she also said she is thrilled to reunite with her girlfriends and fellow golfers' wives (WAGs) on the PGA Tour.
«"These girls, especially at the Ryder Cup and the Presidents Cup, they're my people. I've spent so much time with them," she said of her friends, whom she's known since beginning her relationship with 36-year-old Koepka in 2015.
Sims was also relieved that her friends welcomed her back warmly.
«"When the news broke that Brooks was coming back, I was just amazed at how many women said, 'Oh my God, we're so happy to see you,'" she said. "I got goosebumps. I just didn't realize how much he was missed, and how much I was missed.".

«"I thought, 'Oh, everyone's going to be so angry,'" she thought, but instead noted that "they were very welcoming.".
In another episode of the show, Sims talked about how she copes with tough losses when tournaments don't go according to plan, and about Koepka, whom she married in June 2022 after DMing him on Instagram in an attempt to start a relationship early in their romance.
In fact, she says, it was precisely the need to "deal with it" that surprised her most about her relationship with the pro golfer. "When he's having a bad day and he kind of shuts down, it has nothing to do with anything I did," Sims said.
«"I try to please everyone, so I thought any emotions he was having were caused by me," she admitted. "At the same time, it had absolutely nothing to do with me. He just six-putted on a par-3 and got mad. It had nothing to do with me.".

Over the past decade that they have been together, Sims has learned to cope with these emotions.
«"Over the years, I've learned that when he comes home, you just have to give him some time or space and fully understand that just because he's having a bad day doesn't mean I'm having a bad day," she shared.

«"Through therapy, years of therapy, I've learned to validate your feelings," she added. "And then just give him some space. He needs to be on Instagram. He needs to talk to his sons, and I don't need to fix anything. I'm not his coach. I'm not his therapist. I'm his wife.".
«So I give him the space he needs and create a positive atmosphere for him.».
