The 37-year-old model has appeared on the cover three times. Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine , took part in the latest episode of the series PEOPLE «WAG World» , where she spoke to host Skyler Caruso about her busy career and motherhood with her 2-year-old son, Crew, as well as her relationship with her husband, PGA Tour star Brooks Koepka.
Sims, known for her openness and honesty with her nearly one million social media followers, spoke candidly during the conversation about the negative comments she has received online about her relationship.

In an April Instagram post, Sims responded to being reduced to the status of "just" the wife of 36-year-old Koepka by posting a video message listing her many accomplishments, proving she's clearly more than just a wife. WAG World program Sims explained why she felt the need to acknowledge this publicly.
«"It really pisses me off," Sims said in the episode. WAG World , which was released on Thursday, June 4. «I’m being introduced to some of these people,» she added, noting that she used to be an actress and starred in films such as «Attack of the 15-Meter Cheerleader» (2012) and «Three-Headed Shark Attack» (2015).
«"They don't know I had a career before Brooks, which I did," Sims said. "Now that I have more of a following, probably thanks to the golf world and Sports Illustrated magazine… these people, especially golf fans, get very upset when a golfer's wife makes an issue out of it for them.".
She continued, "I don't think I do that. Even at the Masters, when I became incredibly popular online, I was just showing off my outfits, which is what everyone does when they come to Augusta. I think it's just because I'm a golfer's wife, and these people have a problem with that.".

Sims added that she "just needed to remind them that these are my personal social media pages." "This is not Brooks Kepka's wife's Instagram.com page. These are literally my personal social media pages. So I'll be sharing my outfits and my life. I won't be sharing Brooks. I do share, but this is not a patron page. This is for me," she said.
The term "WAG" (wives and girlfriends of professional athletes) was coined to describe the wives and girlfriends of professional athletes, and since its introduction over a decade ago, it has acquired a variety of meanings. Over the years, many influential women in relationships with sports stars have redefined the term and its meaning.

Sims, a philanthropist and founder of Pageant of Hope, in addition to her modeling and acting career, believes there is a "whole spectrum" of football players' wives and girlfriends.
«"There are so many of them. There's absolutely nothing wrong with being the wife you want to be. I know so many successful relationships where the woman is a wife, and that's all she does. Not only that, but she doesn't have a career outside of marriage. That's wonderful," she said.

«"But there are also wives and girlfriends who build careers outside of their husbands, and that's wonderful too," Sims shared. "So I'm really not one of those who thinks the term 'footballer's wife' has a negative connotation. I just think that's what we're called—the wife and/or girlfriend of a footballer.".
«"I'm someone's wife. That's true. That's a fact," she said.
