In an interview with Extra, Chloe discussed her new film, "Strung," which will premiere on Peacock, and said that her new roles in front of the camera have made her a better actress and "storyteller.".
«"You have to be genuine and vulnerable, you have to let your guard down. And in music, it's all about performance, about putting on a show. And that's something I've always been accustomed to. So now my next goal is [to tell a better story]. But I feel like acting brings me closer to that because you're telling the story of someone else, someone who has nothing to do with you. And there's a beauty in that sincerity," she said.

Over the years, Bailey has released music with her sister, Halle Bailey, and, of course, two solo albums under Beyoncé's Parkwood label. Her latest release, "Resurrection," is a 13-track mixtape filled with alternative R&B hits.
Speaking about the project, which was released on Emancipation Day (Juneteenth), Khloe said it was meant to be a celebratory moment for her and her fans.
«"I made this mixtape with Timberland… and we're releasing it on Juneteenth! It's a celebration of the beauty that exists in our community and the strength that we carry within ourselves, and also because he's such a prominent figure in the music industry," she said. "And I'm so inspired by him and Missy Elliott. I've never been shy about giving them credit for the producer I've become.".
Chloe Bailey created Resurrection in a very short time.
In another segment of the interview, Chloe talked about how she and Timbaland managed to complete the project in just two months.
«He’s amazing. He has an impeccable ear. And I also learned from him that sometimes you can simplify things,» she said. «Sometimes, even just a demo version of a vocal that I’d send him, he’d really like. And a couple of times, I’d redo it, add a bunch of layers, and he’d be like, „No, no, no, no. Go back to the original. That’s where the essence was“… and on some records, he’d let me use my harmonies in all their glory. But it was really cool to learn how to capture different textures that way.».

«"Resurrection" is just the beginning of what's in store for Chloe. In 2024, she spoke to PEOPLE magazine about her upcoming projects and urged fans to stay tuned, as "there are exciting things ahead.".
«"I'm more inspired than ever," she said, jokingly noting that she's "completely immersed in my producing work.".
The singer-songwriter also said she is learning to relax a little more after taking life too seriously after gaining fame.
«"I think I took life too seriously when I was younger, but now I want to focus on my happiness and work hard to achieve my goals," she said.
Chloe talks about her sister Halle's support.
While fans await her sister Halle's new album, Chloe has stated that she will always be by her side. She was recently spotted at the premiere of Halle's feature film, "You, Me, and Tuscany," and expressed her incredible pride in her younger sister and all her successes.
«"My sister and I started doing everything together, so we're each other's safety nets," Chloe said, according to The Blast. "I was so excited to be at the Los Angeles screening and support her in her incredible romantic comedy.".
Chloe says she enjoys both rooting for her sister and working with her on new projects.
