A film by Paul Thomas Anderson «One battle after another» is returning to cinemas – but only for a limited time.
On Tuesday, May 26, the famed New Beverly Cinema announced in its official schedule that the Oscar-winning film would return to the Quentin Tarantino-owned theater from June 18 to 20. But this time «One battle after another» will be shown in the classic 35mm format.
Since its premiere last September film "One Battle After Another"« was shown in several formats, including 70mm, IMAX, and VistaVision—an older format that had been largely out of use in theaters for decades. But in June film "One Battle After Another"« will be available for viewing in 35mm format for the first time.
Over the past year, the film «One battle after another» proved its worth. At the 98th Academy Awards in March, the film won six awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Adapted Screenplay (Anderson), as well as the first-ever award for Best Casting. The film also became a major breakthrough for Chase Infinity, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, and propelled Teyana Taylor to new heights, earning an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Throughout June, moviegoers will also be able to watch films «The Third Man» , «"The Extra-Terrestrial"» , «War of the Worlds» и «Edge of Tomorrow» . The New Beverly Cinema will also show William Beaudine's film. «"The Blonde's Ransom"» , which had never been released on home media before.
There will also be an opportunity to watch the new film by director Michael Sarnoski. «The Death of Robin Hood» (director of the film "« Pig ») before its wide release.
