Pierre looks in fantastic shape as he sunbathes by the pool, highlighting the results of his physical training that has seen him achieve superhero-like physique for his more than two million Instagram followers.
Although the origin of this video is unknown, Pierre is seen smiling broadly as he sits by the pool, his muscles gleaming.
This video emerged amid filming for DC Studios' Man of Tomorrow, in which Pierre will return as John Stewart. This film will mark the actor's second appearance in the DC Universe, including his first big-screen role in Man of Tomorrow, which will be released on July 9, 2027.
It's also worth noting that Stewart now has a mustache and goatee, giving him a different look than the one he'll be sporting in Lanterns.
In Lanterns, Pierre appears as John Stewart with a completely shaved face, while The Man of Tomorrow shows some change in his appearance as a character through facial hair.
While these two projects will be John Stewart's first foray into live-action, he has played a prominent role in previous animated Justice League series. A clean-shaven version of John Stewart appeared in Justice League, which ran from 2001 to 2004, while in Justice League Unlimited (2004 to 2006), he sported a mustache and goatee.

Given that he's likely well past his initial training (which will be shown in Star Lanterns), Stewart will be much more familiar with the Green Lantern ring and its capabilities by the time he appears in Superman II. He'll also likely be a more reliable ally to Clark Kent in battle than the Guy Gardner fans have seen, as Stewart is more grounded and expected to shoulder a much greater responsibility as a hero.
Also in question is Kyle Chandler's future as Hal Jordan, another prominent Green Lantern who will appear alongside Stewart in the film "Lanterns." Both were former members of the Justice League, though Stewart appears to be getting a more significant role in the DC Universe, having been cast in "Superman II.".
Much remains to be revealed by the time "Lanterns" arrives, and Aaron Pierre could become one of the most significant characters in "Man of Tomorrow," aside from the two main characters.
