As Steven Spielberg once again explores extraterrestrial life on screen, the set of the film "« Day of Disclosure"» The main focus was on the human factor.
Emily Blunt, who stars as meteorologist Margaret Fairchild in the Universal Pictures film, which opens June 12, recently explained why she was "a little apprehensive" about using AI to create the alien clicking voice she makes in one of the trailer's key scenes, opting to create those "really weird sounds" herself.

Blunt continued, "There are different ways to do it. You could go the AI route, which I'm a little afraid of. I thought I could make really weird sounds. I made some sort of humming sounds, consonant sounds, weird breathing sounds.".
Noting that the sound engineer held one microphone to her mouth and the other to her throat, Blunt explained that the device "captured sound in a really weird way. And then the sound engineer stepped back and created this weird sound.".
Spielberg previously categorically rejected the use of generative AI in filmmaking. "I'm not ready to replace it because I don't believe in intelligence. I don't believe you can replace the soul. I don't think such an algorithm can be invented," he said on a podcast. IMO .
«"Use AI as a tool, but don't consider AI the final word on any creative matter," Spielberg added. "That's where I draw the line.".
Film premiere «"Disclosure Day"» will premiere on June 12. The film stars Josh O'Connor as a cybersecurity whistleblower who races against time and a massive government conspiracy to bring about the final revelation of alien information. The film also stars Blunt, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo, Wyatt Russell, and others.
