Ariana Grande has officially entered a new chapter in her music career with the release of the official music video for "Hate That I Made You Love Me," the title track from her upcoming album. Petal .
Instead of a traditional music video, Grande turned to cinematic storytelling. The five-minute clip, released Monday (June 1), is both dark and emotionally charged, exploring themes of guilt, obsession, and the lingering mental health effects of a relationship that refuses to go away. In the clip, the actress from the film "« Evil: For the Good» is presented in a tense dynamic that unfolds throughout the video, while her ghost haunts the man who killed her, played by actor Justin Long.

The video opens with a disturbing scene in which Long's character appears to be trying to leave the past behind, but his efforts prove futile as memories of Grande's character haunt him in every scene.
