Over the weekend, Barron appeared on the White House South Lawn with a noticeably changed look that went viral on social media.

A university student and his parents attended the controversial UFC Freedom 250 fight, which was held to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 80th anniversary of his father's birth.

Barron, his long, tousled hair, remained calm, observing the proceedings as usual, next to his mother. He usually wears his hair slicked back, but this time it fell loosely over his forehead.

He wore a tailored navy blue jacket and a crisp white button-down shirt, but opted for a more casual look without a tie. Barron was accompanied by his older half-siblings, Ivanka, Tiffany, Eric, and Donald Trump Jr., who watched excitedly as the fighters took turns vying for victory.

Barron's new look has left many confused, with some suggesting he has undergone a "brutal" makeover and looks "worn out," especially since he is shown with a stern expression in the photos.

In a viral post on X, he was pictured staring intently at his father, his disheveled hair on display for all to see.

«"He might have gotten into some deep waters he shouldn't have," wrote one user X, while another added, "He doesn't want to be there anymore.".

A third user jokingly remarked on X: "A twink dying at 20 is horrible," prompting many online to pick on the son's facial features.

«"This dude is like seven years old, and he's still gaining weight and his eyebrows are growing together. Horrible," one critic commented, while another added, "This is what college does to a dude.".

Someone else wrote, "In these latest photos, he looks like he's struggling with depression. The guy's only 20, always in a suit, surrounded by the chaos of his family and the public eye. I feel a little sorry for him. Money can't buy happiness—that's obvious.".

«"I feel so sorry for Barron; he always looks so serious and sad. The weight of responsibility for the entire world and Trump's legacy has been on his shoulders since he could walk, talk, and carry it," wrote a concerned user.

The 20-year-old fighter has received support online amid claims he looked "pathetic" at the UFC event.

Some supporters online argued that there was no cause for concern and that he was probably just growing up like any other 20-year-old, dismissing claims that Barron looked "miserable.".

«"I think he seems fine. I feel sorry for him. He didn't ask for this. I remember reading during the campaign about how he influenced his father regarding Elon Musk, social media... now he sees how upset so many are/feel cheated. He's a Zoomer; they see everything online," one user wrote.

Another fan said: "He's grown into a handsome man just like everyone else!! The show was amazing!!"«

Someone else compared him to his father, writing: "He looks a lot more like his dad when he was younger, with his new look.".

«"He's put on weight and stopped styling his hair - leave him alone, he's a kid," another person said, defending the president's son.

Barron's last public appearance was at his father's State of the Union address in February, and while he posed for photos with his older half-siblings, things don't seem to be going well between them, as his mother, Melania, reportedly doesn't want him to interact with them.

He didn't join them for the Easter egg roll in April and was noticeably absent from Don Jr. and Bettina Anderson's wedding in the Bahamas last month.

They were also not on the guest list for his 20th birthday party, which Melania hosted herself, leading many to speculate that there is some kind of rift between the president's children.

Making matters worse, the first lady doesn't even want his name mentioned publicly and reportedly criticized Eric for discussing an alleged remark Barron made about former President Joe Biden during their father's inauguration.

Barron seems to have inherited his father's savvy business approach, as he recently launched his yerba mate-based energy drink, Sollos, which retails for $39 for a 12-pack.

He accomplished this feat with four friends: Rodolfo Castillo, Spencer Bernstein, Steven Holl and Valentino Gomez.

According to the brand's website, Sollos strives to "create a drink that truly complements life in the Sunshine State," and their statement explains, "Despite Florida's active lifestyle centered around the outdoors and sun, there was no clean, functional, and delicious drink that truly fit the Floridian lifestyle.".

The statement also said: "Existing options either did not contain quality ingredients or did not provide a refreshing taste that suited the setting and lifestyle.".

The brand has managed to spark controversy due to its price, especially when compared to Red Bull, which retails for $17 and is the leading energy drink on the market.
