Katie Napier (@happyyellowco) shared a video on TikTok of herself stumbling across Papatui products in a store on Tuesday, June 2. She showed the products on the shelf, as well as a life-size ad featuring Johnson smiling and revealing his bald head.

«"Don't give up on your dreams," Napier says in his now-viral video, which has since garnered over 5 million likes. "The Rock is advertising shampoo and conditioner, and he's bald.".

«"Go for it!" she added in the video's caption.

On Thursday, June 5, 54-year-old Johnson posted a video on social media of himself dressed as Maui from the feature film. «Moana» , showing off his long hair. In response, he simply smiles at the camera.

«"Okay, this made me laugh so hard... 😂😂😂 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 🤜🏾🤛🏻," he admitted in the caption, adding, "And by the way, sometimes that shiny, gorgeous demigod hair needs some shampoo/conditioner 😜🪝. You're welcome 🎶.".

He captioned the post, "Love, Maui 🪝," and wrote to the blogger, "PS ~ I have a little gift for you, @happyyellowco 😉🥂.".

Johnson's Papatui brand first launched in Target stores in 2024, and he previously spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about his inspiration for the men's grooming brand.

«"Over the years, I've realized that we men can have great conversations about working out, recovery, ice baths, saunas, trucks, junk food, tequila, and our favorite movies, but every skincare conversation always starts with, 'Hey, can I ask you a question? What do you do for your skin?'" he said.
