Erin Napier is asking fans for help as the show ends. Home Town: Inn This Together .
The final episode of the spin-off aired on Sunday, May 31st. «Home Town» , in which Erin, her husband Ben Napier, and their friends Jim and Mallory Rasberry, along with Josh Nowell, completed the renovation of the Heirloom Hotel in Laurel, Mississippi. Ahead of the opening, the group showed several local officials the first results of the building's transformation.
«"This isn't just a hotel; it's a building that was saved. It's a corner of the city center that was saved," Ben said in an interview. Erin added, "It's a new player in the economy that wasn't there before. It's a morale booster. When people who live here see this dilapidated building finally restored after 40 years, it says something, and it says there's no going back.".
The episode concluded with footage of the devastation caused by the hotel fire in August 2025. Despite this heartbreaking setback, the episode ended on an optimistic note, highlighting that the group had resumed renovation work on the historic building.
«"This hotel means so much to Laurel," Ben said, while Erin noted, "Sometimes it seems impossible, but I know them. And I know they don't give up. They don't give up on anything, and they'll see it through to the end. I'm so proud of them.".
A message appeared on the screen: «Thanks to the deep commitment and support of the community, Framily continues to restore this heritage building.„.
According to Erin's latest Instagram post, the hotel is struggling to secure insurance payments for restoration. "My dear friend, 11-year-old Amos Sledge, hopes @libertymutual will hear his plea and do the right thing. I hope so too," Erin captioned her Sunday post, which included photos of letters Amos had written to Liberty Mutual.
The first letter said, "I'm writing this letter because in large companies, important decisions are made by a group of smart people. And I know you're on the board of this company because they value your opinion. And I wanted you to receive this letter because I know your job is to make important decisions. I believe this is a very important decision.".
In a longer letter, Amos wrote that he was sending his message «on behalf of my friends, the owners of the Heirloom Hotel,» and urged the company to look Home Town: Inn This Together program, If they haven't already, Amos also emphasized how the hotel "impacted not only the small town of Laurel, but changed the lives of many people across the country.".
The letter continued: "Our country has been going through difficult times lately. This hotel and this show have shown truth and beauty, and what hard work and true friendship can do. At this time, your company has not approved their application for recovery funds. It's heartbreaking to watch this show and see how hard they worked. They put everything on the line. I am writing to respectfully request that you approve their application. This is your chance to prove that Liberty Mutual is something special.".
At the end of the letter, Amos wrote, "This isn't just some small town, but a city that is a beacon for our country. If you do the right thing, that light will continue to shine.".
In his Instagram post, Ben noted, "It's been almost a year since the fire, and our friends are STILL waiting for @libertymutual to process their claim." He added, "We don't know what the future holds, but we know God is with us. Thank you for watching over the biggest event in downtown Laurel in a long time.".
Following Sunday's finale, the Heirloom Hotel's Instagram page announced that fans could help support the hotel's restoration by purchasing photo frames crafted from the hotel's original flooring. "We're inspired by the fact that no matter how damaged a building may be, beautiful things can still emerge from the ashes," the post read. "We build for the people we build for, and we hope you will too.".
