George Kittle wasn't about to let Claire Kittle's Miami moment go unnoticed.
Over the weekend, the San Francisco 49ers tight end posted a photo collage dedicated to his wife on Instagram, with a caption worthy of the Husband Hall of Fame: «"Miami was hot, but you're the hottest..."»
But, according to Claire, the post hardly reflected George's real reaction.
«"Oh my God, he's dead," Claire, 30, told the publication. People . "I think we saw some reactions online. He loved it. He's my best friend, so this life feels surreal. We can support each other in pursuing our dreams, and that's really the best thing.".
It's safe to say that Kittle wasn't just watching from the sidelines. He was Claire's biggest cheerleader as she dazzled on the SI Swimsuit runway.
Claire wasn't the only tight end's girlfriend to shine in Miami. Backstage, she met Hailey Cavinder, the fiancée of Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson, and the duo immediately began their career as tight end girlfriends.
«"Tight ends and tiny bikinis," the Cavinder sisters joked on Instagram, adding: "Sundays are for football, summer is for summer and footballers' wives.".
The pairing made perfect sense. Both women are SI Swim's digital cover stars and had previously celebrated their struggles together during Super Bowl weekend. They also share another connection beyond football: both were outstanding Division I basketball players before making it to the big stage. Claire played for the Indiana Hoosiers, and Cavinder for the Miami Hurricanes.
As for Claire and George, their love story goes back a long way. The couple married in July 2019, shortly before Kittle began his third NFL season with the San Francisco 49ers. They met as student-athletes at the University of Iowa and have been teammates ever since.
As he enters another NFL offseason, Kittle appears to be enjoying some well-deserved time off with his wife before preparing for the 2026 season with the San Francisco 49ers.
