On Sunday, May 31, the 45-year-old actress posted a touching tribute to her daughter, Everly, on Instagram, along with new and old photos of the 13-year-old.
In the first photo, Everly and her mother pose together on the beach, with the teenager standing slightly taller than her mother. Dewan, whose daughter Everly is with ex-husband Channing Tatum, also shared photos from Everly's 13th birthday party on the beach and her Dior-themed cake on her Instagram Stories.
«"My Evie... 13 🤯 I keep looking at this number and wondering how it's possible," she began her lengthy post. "It feels like yesterday I was rocking you to sleep, and now I'm looking at this incredible young woman standing in front of me. What I love most about you isn't what you've accomplished, how talented you are, or even how creative and brilliant you are... It's who you are when no one is looking. Your beautiful heart ❤️.".

The actress, who is also mother to six-year-old Callum and 23-month-old daughter Rhiannon with her fiance, 50-year-old actor Steve Kazee, also tells her daughter that she will "never have to deserve my love," "never have to be perfect," and "never have to be anyone other than herself.".
