Savannah Guthrie is a die-hard fan of Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein.
On the June 2 episode of the Today show, the host asked the "Office Romance" co-stars point-blank if they were dating in real life, and demurred when the "Jenny From the Block" singer didn't give a definitive answer.
«"There's not a single instance where I've been seen with someone or worked with someone where they haven't tried to set me up with that person," Lopez Guthrie said.
The Ted Lasso star joined in the joke, saying, "I think if you stood next to her, that's exactly what happened." He joked that he intentionally stood very close to Lopez for that very reason, after Guthrie said, "That's what you want.".

The TV reporter refused to agree with Lopez's answer, adding: "I'll just say that, because I am me and you know me, that was not an answer... You didn't say yes or no.".
The actress, who starred in the film "Selena," responded that the media has long been "pairing me up" with men she's been seen with or worked with. "I think this year I was with Kevin Costner. There were a lot of different people," she said.
«"That's what happens when you're, like, attractive and eligible and single," Guthrie said, to which Lopez responded, "But that doesn't make it true.".

After persistent questioning, Guthrie Lopez finally gave in and gave a concrete answer.
«"Okay, so you're not dating anyone," Guthrie asked one last time.
«"We're not dating," Lopez replied, after which Guthrie moved on to another topic.
Rumors of a Goldstein-Lopez romance in Hollywood surfaced after the October 15 episode of Watch What Happens Live, in which Lopez told host Andy Cohen that her kiss with Goldstein was the best one she'd ever had on screen.
Rumors intensified when fans began raving about the two actors' chemistry during the press tour for Netflix's new romantic comedy, Office Romance, which follows an airline CEO (Lopez) and the company's new lawyer (Goldstein) as troubled workaholics who begin a secret affair. The film hits the streaming service on Friday, June 5.
Guthrie also poked fun at Goldstein, claiming he had an encyclopedic knowledge of Lopez's romantic comedy career after he correctly answered that her first role was in 1995's My Family, as well as three subsequent projects.
«"I could sit here with you all day," Guthrie told the two of them. "I'd love to be in that situation.".
