The actress wore a green Bronx & Banco dress adorned with gold cufflinks and accessorized with a feather-trimmed bomber jacket, which added texture and dimension to the ensemble.
What I loved about her recent look at the Los Angeles premiere was that it felt a little different, yet still fit seamlessly into Jennifer Lopez's established glamorous style. However, it evoked a sense of déjà vu, which didn't help.
Feathers? Jennifer wears them a lot. Cutout dresses? Often. Thigh-high slits? Also part of the formula. But it's not a matter of habit. The problem is execution. The wrinkled fabric, the trim, and the overall cut of the dress lacked the sophistication I'd expect from a woman of her stature. The olive green shade suits her, and the embellishments are meant to add elegance, but the fabric looks cheap on camera, creating an overall unconvincing impression.
Stylists: Rob Zangardi and Mariel Henn.
