It's been almost a year since Jonathan Knight surprised fans with the news of the show's cancellation. Farmhouse Fixer .
In late June 2025, the HGTV star announced on Instagram that his home renovation series with Christina Krestin had not been renewed for a fourth season. "While I'm still processing the reasons that led to this decision, Christina and I are incredibly grateful for your support over the past three seasons," he said at the time. "Television has been an incredible joy for us. We're incredibly proud of what we've created together and look forward to sharing what the future holds.".
Farmhouse Fixer aired for three seasons, from 2021 to 2024, and followed Knight and Krestin as they brought new life to dilapidated farmhouses in New England. The show was one of several HGTV series canceled last year, including Bargain Block , Married to Real Estate , Izzy Does It , Christina on the Coast и The Flipping El Moussas .
Ahead of his return to HGTV in a new show Crashers , Knight shared his thoughts on the closure in an interview with People published on Tuesday, June 2. Farmhouse Fixer . « Farmhouse "was the best show. It was my baby," he told the publication. "But on Farmhouse It took me 16 months to film the last season. It took a really long time.".
Knight said his schedule became too hectic between working on the show and performing with New Kids on the Block. "We'd go on tour, and I'd have to fly home [to Boston] on my days off to finish filming, then fly straight back to some city for a show," he explained. "As fun as that was, it became too much. And eventually, it became unbearable.".

Despite his sadness about the end of the series, Knight now believes it was the right decision. "I perceive Farmhouse "It's like a classic film. It's accessible, you can watch it on streaming platforms anytime," he said.
Later this month, Knight will premiere his new series on HGTV called «Crashers» , which is a reboot of the popular franchise that includes shows such as «Kitchen Crashers» и «Yard Crashers» . As in previous seasons, Knight will surprise homeowners with a free makeover of their chosen space within 72 hours.
«"Before work begins, homeowners must agree to three rules: the renovation begins immediately; they have no say in the design; and they must vacate their home for the entire three days," reads the official show description.
