Jordan Clapper coaxed a Donald Trump voter into making a surprising confession.

"The Daily Show" host Jordan Klepper coaxed a Donald Trump supporter into making a surprising confession while attending America's 250th anniversary event in New Orleans.

The exchange, which aired Thursday, began with the man declaring that the country was finally moving "in a better direction" under Trump.

Buzz: 'Daily Show' mocks Trump for 'incredibly bad' response to Epstein case.

But his confidence quickly wavered as Klepper delved deeper into the issue.

«"He ran without promising to start new wars," Klepper told a supporter.

«Absolutely right,» the man confirmed.

«"What do you think about all these new wars?" asked Clapper.

«"That's right," the man replied. "You got me.".

Clapper then turned to the Jeffrey Epstein case, which has drawn criticism from some supporters for Trump's lack of transparency surrounding the convicted criminal's case.

«"Release these Epstein files?" Clapper asked.

«"I agree with that," the man said, before suggesting that recent military conflicts were being used as a diversionary tactic.

Buzz: Here are 8 shows NBC has canceled in 2026 so far.

«"Wars are waged rather to hush up this matter, to distract people's attention from it, so that no one can concentrate," he said.

Clapper then asked the supporter if he would (theoretically) vote for Trump again.

«I don’t know,» the man admitted.

«"Starting a war to distract from the non-disclosure of Epstein's documents is certainly a nearly insurmountable obstacle," Clapper noted.

«Yes,» the man replied.
