On June 2, the 44-year-old Princess of Wales made a rare public declaration of her love for her husband during a reception to mark the 125th anniversary of the charity Cancer Research UK, along with King Charles and Queen Camilla.
Princess Kate had some kind words to say about her husband during a conversation with singer Ronan Keating and his wife, Storm, who inquired about William and sent him their regards. Storm praised the Prince of Wales, calling him "a true gentleman," while Ronan said, "We love him," reports Daily Mail .
In a charming response, Kate said, "I think so too.".

The Princess of Wales offered another kind word about 43-year-old Prince William at a royal reception at St. James's Palace in London on Wednesday, addressing the widower of Dame Deborah James. James, a BBC podcast host dubbed "The Gut Girl" for her cancer awareness campaign, died in 2022 at the age of 40 after being diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2016.
James' husband, Sebastian Bowen, expressed gratitude for William's conversation with their two children, while Kate said: "He's such a good man.".

Prince William and Princess Kate have been married for 15 years and have two children: Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. The family suffered a shock when Princess Kate underwent cancer treatment in 2024, and in January 2025, the royal announced with "relief" that she was in remission.
In 2024, when announcing her cancer diagnosis, Princess Kate said she and William took the time to "explain everything" to their children, and the Prince of Wales later revealed they had decided to be open with George, Charlotte, and Louis about what was happening.
The heir to the throne made this statement in a conversation with Brazilian television presenter Luciano Hook during his visit to Brazil for the 2025 Earthshot Prize ceremony. The interview touched on the past two years, which Hook described as "very difficult," when King Charles and Princess Kate were diagnosed with cancer. (Buckingham Palace announced the king's cancer diagnosis in 2024, and his treatment is still ongoing.)
William said he and Kate "have decided to be much more involved with their children" and that there are "pros and cons" to that.
