Jimmy Kimmel gave President Donald Trump a tough new nickname on Friday after it was revealed the president will attend at least one NBA Finals game in New York next week.
«"There he is, Larry Trump, holding the ball with both hands," Kimmel said, referring to an AI-generated image of Trump dunking a basket over New York Governor Kathy Hochul. "The president wants to personally support his home team and, if necessary, overturn the game.".

He continued, "You'd think Trump would be a Spurs fan, right? They're the ones who got him out of Vietnam.".
Trump, a New York native, said Thursday he will attend the New York Knicks' first NBA Finals appearance at Madison Square Garden since 1999 to support his hometown team.
He called himself a "big fan" of the Knicks and their owner, James Dolan, who invited him to the game.
«"The answer is yes, he invited me, I'm going," Trump said of Dolan's invitation.
Trump told reporters in the Oval Office on Thursday that he plans to attend at least one New York Knicks home game next week, but did not rule out attending games on Monday and Wednesday.
