On the June 1 episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", the host aired a parody commercial aimed directly at the former villain from the reality show "The Hills." The parody ad mixed clips from Pratt's real-life mayoral campaign with some of his most controversial moments on reality TV.
«"For decades, Los Angeles has been run by career politicians. It's time for real change," the fictional character declared, before delivering her final line: "Los Angeles needs a mayor who has no experience in anything!"»
The plot didn't end there. Kimmel's team also mentioned Pratt's crystal business, joking that he could "heal this town with the thousands of crystals he couldn't sell.".
The commercial ended with a particularly scathing dig, urging viewers to "let the world know how fucking stupid you are" by voting for Pratt.
In archival clips from The Hills, Pratt made derogatory comments about one of the contestants and called himself "dangerous," creating a stark contrast between reality TV drama and public service.
Kimmel has been openly skeptical of Pratt's campaign for weeks. In one of his previous monologues, he argued that Pratt's growing popularity mirrored the path taken by Donald Trump, who has also used his reality TV fame for political influence.

The comedian also suggested that Pratt enjoys the spotlight more than dealing with the realities of government, and questioned whether he really wanted to spend his days attending city council meetings and debating policy issues.
Meanwhile, Pratt seemed unfazed by the criticism, responding on social media with a joke: "Jimmy's secretly voting for me.".
