Recently, while in the early stages of pregnancy, she rushed to the studio to record a verse for Cardi B's project, and only saw the leaked phone conversation circulate online a few days later.
«"I was in the early stages of pregnancy and rushed to the studio to record this verse for the first week of sales of her album," Latto said. "Literally two days later, I saw people calling me a slut online.".

Cardi B eventually issued a public apology and contacted Latto a few weeks later, but it took about two months for them to communicate directly.
