Leonie Swann's novel "Three Bags Full" is the basis for the film "The Sheep Detectives," directed by Kyle Balda and written by Craig Mazin. Released on Prime Video, the film follows a loyal flock of sheep who are forced to investigate after their shepherd, George (Hugh Jackman), mysteriously dies.
Luckily, George's flock was trained to recognize murder patterns, as he read aloud to them every night before bed. Suspects include a mysterious long-lost daughter, an innkeeper, a butcher, and others, which Officer Tim Derry (Nicholas Braun) and journalist Elliot Matthews (Nicholas Galitzine) must investigate.

Louis-Dreyfus is known for her roles as Selina Meyer in the television series «Vice President, Elaine Benes in «Seinfeld» and Valentina Allegra de Fontaine in many Marvel films, most recently «Thunderbolts* (2025) and the post-credits scene in the film «Black Widow» (2021).

Chris O'Dowd voices Mopple, the sheep with the best and only truly retentive memory in George's flock. He is Lily's right-hand man in the investigation.

Brett Goldstein voices two twin rams, Ronnie and Reggie, who eventually find good reason to beat and batter each other with their enormous horns.
Goldstein plays Roy Kent in the Apple TV series Ted Lasso and appears as Louis in the Apple TV series Downsizing. His Netflix series Office Romance, starring alongside Jennifer Lopez, has also premiered, and he's developing a series about a male escort for Prime Video.

Bryan Cranston voices Sebastian, the lone wolf ram in George's flock. He spends a lot of time away from home, on a rocky cliff, because he was a winter lamb, and sheep have strange rules about winter lambs.
