Luke Bryan wants fans to know that he does not use artificial intelligence when writing his music.
Following the release of his latest single, "Fish Hunt Golf Drink," the singer directly addressed some of the accusations leveled against artificial intelligence.
«"We've encountered some negativity. Some trolls are claiming I used artificial intelligence, which is completely untrue," he said. NBC4 TV channel at the Memorial Pro-Am tournament on Wednesday, June 3.
«"This song was created with one purpose in mind," continued Brian, 49. "To have fun and tell the world what I love to do and what I strive for.".
When Brian announced the single on social media in May, he received a lot of comments about artificial intelligence, such as, "What the hell is going on in the chat, GBT?".
«"Is this AI?" one social media user wrote, while another noted, "This is so awful, saying it's AI is disrespectful to gpt chat!"»
The country song was written by renowned artists Chase McGill and Matt Dragstrom. Last week, after suspicions arose about the use of artificial intelligence, the songwriters clarified the situation in an interview. Rolling Stone .
«"He's the most genuine person I've ever met," McGill said.
«"The only way I've ever been successful in country music is by sitting in a room with good friends and enjoying the process of writing a song that very day," he continued. "I don't think I would have felt any satisfaction if I'd said, 'Me, write me a song about anything.' That's not what I signed up for.".
McGill also discussed the inspiration for the song, which is about fishing, hunting, drinking and golf.
«"Luke was messaging one of his buddies, and he said, 'Let's hang out soon,'" he recalls. "Luke sent him a fish emoji, a deer emoji, a golf club emoji, and a beer emoji, saying, 'Pick your own.' Then he showed it to us. He said, 'Dude, this could be a cool song.'".
«"This guy loves to have fun. He can fish better than most people I know, he's a fantastic line fisherman, I hear he's a very good golfer," the songwriter continued, "and he's a pretty good drinker.".

Dragstrom concluded: "It's not rocket science... But it fits who Luke is.".
On May 11, Brian released the single "Fish Hunt Golf Drink," the third single from his upcoming album. Signs . The new album will be released on September 18.
