Ted McGinley has become the latest celebrity to reveal the shocking amount he still receives in royalties.
In a new interview with Page Six, the Married... with Children star, who also found fame on Happy Days and The Love Boat in the 1970s, '80s, and '90s, said he keeps "a stack" of receipts worth just one cent each.
«"I'm constantly getting royalties," McGinley said, acknowledging that the payments have gotten smaller and smaller over the years.
While McGinley doesn't bother cashing small checks, he can't throw them away either.

McGinley isn't the only celebrity who has spoken openly about the shocking fees she's received over the years.
The actor also rose to fame thanks to the series Happy Days and The Love Boat, which he filmed in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
During an appearance on the McBride Rewind podcast, Jodie Sweetin, best known for playing Stephanie Tanner on Full House for all eight seasons from 1987 to 1995 and then again on the spinoff Fuller House from 2016 to 2020, revealed the shocking amount she received in royalties.
David Spade claims Disney "set him up" by not paying him royalties for the animated classic.
At the time, Sweetin said she "received a check for one cent the other day.".
«"There's no more syndication because everything is streamed," she continued. "Who's getting paid for it? Nobody," she said.

«"Sure, in my 20s, there was money, but it was unreliable," she noted. "You don't know how much it's going to cost or how often they'll do it. So sometimes you think, 'Oh, great. That was nice.' And sometimes you think, 'Oh well, I might as well go out for dinner.'".
Drake Bell claims Nickelodeon is not paying its young stars.
«"You just never know. So you can't rely on that," Sweetin added. "I always say people think I live some kind of extravagant lifestyle. And I'm like, 'Honey, I drive my used 2023 Hyundai Sonata, which I love. I rent out my house. I have maxed-out credit cards.' I live a normal life," she explained. "And yes, there are times when you think, 'Everything's going well,' and then there are times when you think, 'I need a full-time job.'".

«"There's always been this perception of the world: Everyone thinks, 'Oh, you did a Folgers commercial. You probably live in a mansion in Hollywood. I've seen you on TV; you're rich,'" Bell said during an appearance on The Unplanned Podcast.
«"That's far from true," Bell continued. "And especially—and this is especially frustrating for most of us at Nickelodeon—we don't get royalties for our shows.".
Bell noted that most networks pay actors royalties for work used after the original airing, but Nickelodeon only offers actors a one-time payment.
