UPDATE SUNDAY MORNING: Before the Michael Jackson biopic hits Japan next weekend, today's global box office figures show Lionsgate's highest-grossing film of all time has reached $897.9 million after grossing $23.1 million worldwide in its seventh weekend. That $897 million figure includes off-site grosses from Universal, handled by Volga.
Volga is distributing the film in Russia, where it has grossed approximately $10 million.

Overall, that translates to $7.7 million domestic (down $35.1 TP3T) and $15.4 million international (down $29.1 TP3T) from 83 countries. With international revenue of $533.8 million ( $543.685 million in general abroad, including the Volga markets), «"Michael"» surpassed this indicator «Bohemian Rhapsody »" in terms of foreign box office revenue in comparable markets.
