Thirty-two years after the tragic death of her late sister, Nicole Brown Simpson, Tanya Brown is honoring her memory in a new way.
Nicole was murdered along with her friend Ron Goldman on June 12, 1994, in front of her Los Angeles home. Since then, Tanya has widely publicized her story and kept her memory alive, speaking out against domestic violence for many years. Now, Tanya has created commemorative magnets for fans in Nicole's honor.
On Wednesday, June 3, Tanya announced on Instagram that she and her close friend, Kiki McDonald, had created a limited-edition collection called "Nicole: Living in Memory." The magnets feature some of Tanya's "favorite photos of Nicole," including one taken on her wedding day to ex-husband O.J. Simpson.

«"For many of you, Nicole was more than just a headline," Tanya wrote. "She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a friend, and her memory lives on decades later.".
She continued, "Over the years, so many of you have shared stories, photos, memories, and messages with me. Because of this love, I wanted to create something special that people could cherish and enjoy every day.".
Tanya said that no matter how fans choose to place the magnets, she hopes they will help "bring a smile, a memory, and a moment of togetherness.".
«"Each magnet is dedicated to a specific moment in Nicole's life and reflects the warmth, beauty, joy, and soulfulness that those closest to her remember so well," Tanya wrote.
O.J. married Nicole in February 1985, six years after divorcing his first wife, Marguerite L. Whitley. The couple had two children: daughter Sydney and son Justin. O.J. already had daughter Arnelle, son Jason, and daughter Aaren (who drowned in 1979) from a previous marriage.
In 1989, O.J. Simpson pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges and was sentenced to community service, probation, and fines. Nicole filed for divorce in 1992, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple briefly reconciled in 1993, but Nicole ended their relationship in May 1994 following alleged incidents of violence.

Later that year, the football star was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the stabbings of Nicole and Goldman. However, after a lengthy trial, he was acquitted in October 1995. O.J. Simpson died of cancer at the age of 76 on April 10, 2024.
