In the program release LIVE On May 27, Kelly Ripa opened up about her 30th wedding anniversary with Mark Consuelos. The ABC star revealed details of an unusual birthday card she once gave her husband.
The topic arose after the couple discussed new research on the Tyrannosaurus rex. "Can I talk about this on air?" she asked. "I'll talk about it in a way that's appropriate for television.".
Kelly continued, "For our anniversary, I found a greeting card with two T-Rexs very much in love. The female T-Rex says, 'Pull my hair.' And the male T-Rex says, 'I'm trying.'".

When Kelly asked Mark if it was the best card he had ever received, he replied, "Yes.".

«"I found it in Palm Springs, where all good postcards come from," she explained. "It's a charming postcard. It needs to be seen, but only certain people can see it. You have to be over 21 to see it.".
Earlier in the program, the couple also discussed dinosaurs, with Kelly revealing that she's "the human equivalent of a T-Rex" because she has "short arms for my size." She added that dinosaurs "didn't need their small arms" because they "approached everything head-on.".

Kelly and Mark's wedding anniversary
The couple celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on May 1st. The day was marked with a special episode of LIVE dedicated to the milestone. "Today is our 30th wedding anniversary," Mark shared. "30 years. We did it!"«
«"High-five? A 30th anniversary is a high-five anniversary!" Kelly said. "How did this happen? It wasn't supposed to happen. Two kids met on a soap opera..." Mark recalled. Kelly then called their marriage "the smartest and best decision I've ever made in my life.".
The couple first met at the All My Children event (Disney General Entertainment Con).
Kelly and Mark married in 1996, secretly wed in Las Vegas a year after meeting on the set of a soap opera. «All My Children» . In 2022, Kelly revealed that their wedding cost just $179. Her wedding dress also cost under $200 and featured a sleeveless design with thin straps and a fitted silhouette. The entire gown was adorned with intricate lace trim and finished with a graceful hem that fell to the floor. They had children: Michael, Lola, and Joaquin.
Mark said their relationship has been "one big adventure" since then, while Kelly said: "I feel like every day is our anniversary, and it's kind of weird.".
