The release of the fifth Toy Story film is just around the corner, and rumors abound that the singer known for her hit "Fearless" will be appearing in it. Some believe she'll be lending her voice to the soundtrack for the popular film franchise. On her website, a Disney Pixar billboard is titled "TS," which stands for "Toy Story.".
Given her background and the film's plot, everyone agrees she'll contribute to the soundtrack. Billboards similar to the one Taylor posted on her website are popping up across the United States, leading fans to believe Taylor is bound to be a part of the new film in some capacity.
While most of the characters are voiced by renowned actors like Tim Allen and Tom Hanks, at least one other renowned vocalist will have a small role. Bad Bunny will voice a pizza wearing sunglasses in Toy Story 5.
Taylor has contributed to several film soundtracks. In 2022, her song "Carolina" was featured on the soundtrack to the film "Where the Crawdads Sing." Her song "Today Was a Fairytale" was featured on the soundtrack to the 2010 film "Valentine's Day." Her song "Safe & Sound" also appeared on the soundtrack to the 2012 film "The Hunger Games.".
The 36-year-old pop icon released her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, last October. She's also planning a wedding to Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce. Toy Story 5 premieres in US theaters on June 19.
