Acceptance tests

What do acceptance tests mean?

All products undergo these tests upon receipt, before they reach the shelves. They apply to all supply chains. The main provisions are outlined in the interstate standard GOST 15.309-98. It details the testing system, its scope of application, and standard provisions.

Testing is carried out to verify that products meet specific criteria. Acceptance testing is carried out by the quality control department.

These tests are also conducted for scientific statistics and research purposes, as well as to establish the average price or cost of a particular product.

How are technical products tested?

The purpose of testing is to determine quality and its compliance with proposed standards. This involves measuring the physical and technical capabilities, operational design, and modeling of the equipment in question.

Tested for mechanical impact.

There is a classification of tests, which consists of 2 points:

  • Characterization. This includes all tests related to the physical properties of the product. For example: strength, mechanical, electromagnetic, electrical, reliability, insulation resistance testing, and frequency.
  • Purpose. Such as: clinical, factory, identification, state, periodic, and acceptance.

All tests are conducted under specific conditions. The more precise the specified conditions, the more reliable the test results. Quality depends on how thoroughly all the conditions are analyzed during modeling. To eliminate risks, some products are retested. This helps ensure quality and compliance with GOST standards.

Modern technology allows for some testing to be performed using digital devices. This is how diagnostics of any equipment is performed. The main goal is to bring the mechanism's performance to its maximum, and then monitor changes and performance.

All possible errors are identified during diagnostics and successfully corrected. A car is an example of such diagnostics. Before a new model is released, it undergoes a series of tests and studies to determine its quality. This is convenient because you don't have to take all the measurements yourself. The program does it for you.
