«"This will definitely be the biggest season of our careers," Condal added in an interview with Deadline ahead of his appearance at the Enders Leaders Conference in London.
Condal hasn't had time to reflect on his work as showrunner of one of HBO's biggest series of all time, but he knows the time for reflection will come, and is currently focused on writing Season 4.
«"I'm one of those people who believes all good things must come to an end," he explained. "I don't know yet how I'll feel [when the show ends], because right now it's like a snake eating its own tail; you rarely have one thing in common. We're working on season four right now, before we finish season three and release it.".
Perhaps his participation in the series «House of the Dragon» is coming to an end, but Condal certainly has no plans to leave HBO. Last month, Deadline exclusively reported that Condal had extended his contract with the premium network until 2029.
Today he said the contract extension was made "to begin the next chapter, whatever that may be.".

Season three is the "belly of the beast.".
He is in London with the cast promoting the third season of the series. «House of the Dragon» , which he described as a season where "everything kind of slowed down" in terms of production. "Everything fell into place, and I settled into the rhythm of production," he explained. "I actually really enjoy filming [in the UK]," he added, referring to the country where he's lived for the past six years.
While the tone of season three remains "relatively consistent," he said it feels "like a climax, a heartbreak, a point of no return.".
«"There's no turning back," he added. "It creates a sense of heaviness, tension, and gloom. Perhaps before, we saw more signs of hope that the situation wouldn't get worse, but now, I think, there's a snowball's feeling, a sense of inevitability.".
The first episode, which premieres on June 21 and features the iconic Battle of the Gullet, has previously been described by Condal as "probably the craziest episode of television ever.".
Today, he emphasized, "I'm not here to judge my own episode," but he noted the scale and scope of the first episode, for which the team built two tanks and three unique ship sets, all of which culminated in a 25-minute battle scene. "For me, the effort to do that in one hour of television puts it in the category of perhaps the craziest things ever attempted on television. I'm very proud of what we accomplished.".
В the TV series "House of the Dragon"« The series is told from the perspective of 19 characters, making it a massive undertaking, and Condal said that several other characters will come to the fore in season three, including Aemond Targaryen, Helena Targaryen, and Alyn of Hull.
The main characters, Rhaenyra Targaryen, Alicent Hightower and Daemon Targaryen, played by Emma D'Arcy, Olivia Cooke and Matt Smith respectively, will remain "front and centre," Condal added.
