Sadie Sink will play the lead role in a new television adaptation of the novel Jeffrey Eugenides, Pulitzer Prize winner . FX TV channel ordered mini-series , will be in charge of production A24 company , and the broadcast will be conducted by Hulu .

Sadie Sink has been cast in the film "Marriage Plot.".

The Stranger Things actor will star in the film adaptation of the novel Marriage Plot. The 2011 novel follows three recent college graduates who find themselves embroiled in an all-consuming love triangle. They struggle to reconcile their youthful romantic aspirations with their approaching adulthood. The story centers on life-changing choices about love and identity.

Will Arbery, the writer of HBO's Succession, is adapting the novel, and Hiro Murai, one of the key creators of FX's Atlanta, will direct. Both are also executive producers. The project is a collaborative effort between FX and A24, two studios with a wealth of experience creating critically acclaimed, character-driven television series.

Set at Brown University in the early 1980s, The Marriage Plot centers on Madeline Hannah (possibly Sadie Sink), a literature student torn between two men while completing her senior thesis on the marriage plot in 19th-century literature.

Leonard Bankhead, a biology student suffering from bipolar disorder, becomes her passionate romantic partner. Mitchell Grammaticus, a religious studies major, seeks both spiritual enlightenment and Madeline's affection.

After graduating, Madeline and Leonard move to Cape Cod for his graduate studies, while Mitchell embarks on a journey through Europe and India. It's unclear how closely the upcoming series will follow the novel. Critics praised Eugenides' novel upon its release, and many publications included it in their lists of the best films of 2011.

For Sadie Sink, this role represents a completely different experience. In addition to her popular role as Max Mayfield in the Netflix series Stranger Things, she has a diverse resume. It includes a role in the film Whale, the Broadway production of John Proctor: The Villain, and the West End production of Romeo and Juliet. In 2021, she starred in Taylor Swift's short film "All Too Well" alongside Dylan O'Brien. She will soon appear in Spider-Man: The New Day and will serve as an executive producer on the film adaptation of John Proctor: The Villain.
