After a seemingly premature countdown, a carefully worded rebuttal from director Andrew Stanton, and a vague billboard with a very specific cloud count, Taylor Swift's participation in «Toy Story 5» officially confirmed.
The news comes after the pop star's official website launched a countdown timer featuring Jessie dancing on a rooftop, as well as a billboard with the word "TS" that appeared last week, featuring a cloud 13, an important number in Taylor Swift fan numerology.

As the countdown timer reached zero, the store page updated with three versions of a new original song titled "I Knew It, I Knew You." The track will be available for purchase on CD in three editions: regular, acoustic, and piano. While the track wasn't available at the time of the announcement, Disney confirmed that "I Knew It, I Knew You" will be released on June 5.
This news seemed to directly contradict what director Andrew Stanton said in an interview last week, sparking headlines suggesting Swift wasn't involved with the project. But a closer look at the director's quote left some ambiguity. "The sad truth is, we were watching the film being mixed last week, and the song at the end is not a Taylor Swift song," Stanton said, which really only means Swift's potential song won't be the end-credits song. It could still appear mid-credits.
