The franchise "« Toy Story» Taylor Swift has a new friend. On Monday (June 1), the singer announced that she will be writing an original song titled "I Knew It, I Knew You" for the soundtrack to the upcoming fifth installment of the beloved animated series.
Now that physical copies of the track, as well as acoustic and piano versions, are available for purchase on Swift's website, the hitmaker has revealed that "I Knew It, I Knew You" will be released on June 19, the same day that "I Knew It, I Knew You" hits theaters. «Toy Story 5 »" In an Instagram post where she shared the news with fans, she wrote: "I've always dreamed of writing songs for these characters that I've adored since I was five years old and watched the first movie. «Toy Story »».

The official announcement came at the end of a countdown on Swift's website dedicated to the cartoon "« Toy Story» , which launched a few hours earlier. The animated image in the lower corner featured Jessie, the franchise's main character, waving in her cowboy outfit. The background also featured a billboard with the word "TS," echoing the real-life blue and yellow signs that have appeared in various locations around the world in recent days.
Pixar also hinted at Swift's involvement before the official announcement, releasing photos of the billboards—eager fans noticed the design featured exactly 13 clouds, a reference to the 14-time Grammy Award winner's lucky number—as well as a video of Jessie dancing next to one of the signs.
