This weekend, members of the royal family attended the wedding of the King's cousin, Peter Phillips, and his girlfriend of two years, Harriet Spurling. The happy couple tied the knot in a typically English rural setting, with a church ceremony at All Saints' Church in Kemble, Cirencester, and guests are expected to attend a reception at the nearby home of the groom's mother, Princess Anne.

The bride looked stunning in an ivory dress with a lace high collar and long sleeves, complemented by a floor-length veil, all by Emilia Wickstead. She wore a tiara, though not from her mother-in-law's collection, but from Pragnell, the jeweler who also designed her engagement ring. Harriet's daughter, Georgina, and Peter's daughters, Isla and Savannah, served as bridesmaids, wearing matching ivory high-neck dresses.

Harriet is quickly becoming the new royal fashion favourite, favouring British brands such as Me+Em, Wiggy Kit, St Clair and Beulah – much like her new husband's cousin, the Princess of Wales.
The couple met in 2024, making their first public appearance at an equestrian competition in Badminton. They became engaged in August 2025. This is the second marriage for both of them: Peter was married to Autumn Kelly from 2008 to 2021, and Harriet was previously married to fitness trainer Antonio St. John Spurling.

The Princess of Wales was among the most stylish guests, looking as elegant as ever in a soft pink Roland Mouret suit. It's a slight departure from her usual style; the royal often chooses Alexander McQueen for her wedding gowns—she not only wore a custom-made dress from the house at her own wedding in 2011, but also at the weddings of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank, and her sister Pippa Middleton and James Matthews. However, she typically favors pale pink and often opts for fitted coats—a must-have in our fickle British climate.

Among the royal family members present were the King, Queen Camilla, Prince Edward, the Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Beatrice, and, of course, Peter's mother, Princess Anne, and his sister, Zara Tindall. Peter's ex-wife, Autumn, was also present, underscoring the amicable nature of their separation.
The most recent royal wedding was that of Princess Beatrice, which, due to COVID-19 restrictions, was held in a small, intimate ceremony at Windsor Castle.
