SEVENTEEN members The 8 and VERNON are preparing to release the first EP from their new side project, V8. Scheduled for release on June 29, the EP, titled The 8, will feature collaborations with a number of renowned producers, including former collaborator Pharrell Williams.
According to the press release announcing the project, it's a deep dive into the theme of "lost youth," with songs focusing on "the raw moments of wandering and confusion experienced over time, as well as the resilience and growth that emerges from these challenges. Rather than defining lost youth as simply a lost moment, the album sublimates the unstable and fragile nature of youth into an explosive sense of freedom, channeling that energy into a driving force for continuous forward movement.".
