Josh and Kendra reportedly split in January, and the ensuing custody battle has become increasingly bitter, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

In his latest court filing, Josh requests custody of the couple's three children. He claims Kendra is interfering with his ability to co-parent and is attempting to turn the children against him. Josh also claims one of their daughters has told him she wants to live with him.

However, Kendra tells a very different story.

In her court filing, she described Josh as an "active alcoholic" who "drank away" professional opportunities after his stint on Reba's team on "The Voice." She also accused him of drunk driving with children in the car and aggressive behavior in front of them.

Because of these allegations, Kendra argued that Josh should only see the children under supervision. She claims she should receive primary custody because she can "provide a stable, loving, alcohol-free home" for her children.

The custody dispute also raised other legal issues.

According to arrest records, Josh was arrested in April for allegedly violating a temporary restraining order against a domestic violence victim. Earlier this month, he also filed a trespassing complaint against Kendra.

Details surrounding the restraining order remain unclear. Josh reportedly claims it was related to a child custody dispute.

With serious allegations from both sides, Josh and Kendra's legal battle doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.

Season 30 of "The Voice" premieres in September. Previous seasons are available to watch on Peacock.
