They traded the glamour of old Hollywood for a quasi-street style in makeup and hair: casual, flirty hairstyles, natural textures, and expressive yet defined lips.

The "flicked-back" hairstyle seems to be finally making a comeback after a steady decline in recent years—this time with a softer, more sophisticated approach. After winning the Breakthrough Performance in a Comedy Series award for "I Love L.A.", Sennott showed off a modern take on the style on Monday night, combing her bangs back and pinning them to the crown with a flat black satin bow. The hairstyle, created by Sami Knight, nods to early 2000s trends seen on Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, and other Disney Channel stars.
Elsewhere on the red carpet, Brittany Snow played with a baby blue ribbon, tying her blonde hair into a loose ponytail behind her back, like Gwyneth Paltrow's. The resulting look was at odds with the ostentatious flirtatiousness that flourished in 2022 and 2023, when women wove ribbons into braided buns over Peter Pan-style collars.
Controlled curls

Curly hair has been enjoying a real boom lately, and yesterday's red carpet appearance proves the movement is only gaining momentum. Infinity, one of the new generation leaders in the curly hair revival and winner of Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, turned to her trusted stylist, Cori Moreno, on Monday night to help her define and style her curls using the Latina-owned haircare brand Rizos Curls. "The goal was to create soft, elongated curls with volume, shine, and movement while maintaining the integrity of Chase's natural hair texture," Moreno said in a statement.
While accepting the Spotlight Tribute award, Washington showed off a similar hairstyle, highlighting her own curls with the help of celebrity stylist and Curl Queen founder Naivasha. Maintaining the texture and shape of her hair, Naivasha parted her hair down the middle and added shine to the ends.
Contoured lips

Nina Park's lip contouring technique is quickly becoming a fashion trend this year, and everyone from Emma Stone to Zoe Kravitz has sported it on the red carpet. At Monday's party, Pajen, Lili Reinhart, and Odessa A'zion opted for this style, featuring outlined lips and taupe shades. The end result is meant to resemble the contour of lips after a meal, highlighting the mouth shape without the harsh lines of fresh makeup.
