The star of the film «"Top Gun: Maverick"» James Handy has died aged 81 after being stabbed to death by his girlfriend's son, Michael Gledhill, on Wednesday morning, according to investigators.
Michael, 44, reportedly called police around 9:30 a.m. on June 3, telling officers: "I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin.".
When police arrived at James' home in Tarzana, Michael allegedly flagged them down and directed them to the crime scene.

«"Upon arrival at the scene, officers found 81-year-old James Handy unconscious in the front yard of a home with a stab wound to the chest," the Los Angeles police press release said.
«"The victim was transported to a local hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics, where he was pronounced dead.".
The Los Angeles police added that Michael lived at this address with his mother, who was James's girlfriend.
During his career, James has appeared in more than 150 projects (ABC).
«"Detectives believe this is an isolated incident, and at this time, there appears to be no threat to the public," they concluded. Michael was then arrested and taken to the Van Nuys jail, where he is being held on $2 million bail.
