In the new the TV series "Masters of the Universe"« We learn all about how Prince Adam of Eternia (Nicholas Galitzine), aka He-Man, ended up on Earth as a child, far from Skeletor's evil domain. But what about his twin sister, Princess Adora, aka She-Ra?
In the film's post-credits scene (now in theaters), Duncan/The Man in Armor (Idris Elba) and Adam's mother, Queen Marlena (Charlotte Riley), look out over a rebuilt Eternos following He-Man's epic victory over Skeletor (Jared Leto), who has taken over the once colorful and vibrant city and reduced it to a dark ruin.
Queen Marlena tells Duncan that her hope of reuniting her children has faded, but in an attempt to cheer her up, she adds, "Perhaps one day she too will return to us.".
We then see a woman, seen only from behind and in profile, with long blonde hair, wearing a red cloak, holding her mighty sword in her hands.

In the history of comics and animated series «Masters of the Universe» Adora was kidnapped as an infant by Hordak and raised on another planet, Etheria, as part of his Evil Horde. When she finally learns the truth about her true identity, her allies change, and she vows to fight back.
Director «Masters of the Universe» Travis Knight says he and his longtime collaborator, screenwriter Chris Butler, had hoped to somehow include She-Ra in the film, but weren't sure it would actually happen.
«"Mattel created the character, but it's a bit like Marvel in the '90s, where some things are spread across different places, so the rights issue was complicated," Knight explains in an interview. Entertainment Weekly . "And so we could use her, [and then] we couldn't. She was in the movie, she was outside the movie. We always hoped that we could include her in the movie, and we wrote the scene in such a way that it was modular, so that we could use her if the opportunity arose, and if not.".
However, once they got the go-ahead for her participation, another problem arose. «We were very late in the filming process, and we had no money left,» he says. «So we had to rush and build sets with practically nothing. And my production designer, Guy Dyas—a brilliant guy, by the way—had to build it all himself. He was just taking things from everywhere, like vacuum cleaner parts, to build the sets. And we had to fit it into a day when we had a lot of other things to do. We only had a few hours in the morning to shoot that scene. I had so many moments during the filming of this movie where I couldn’t believe my luck, and this was definitely one of them—seeing her on set.».

If Knight and company get the green light for a sequel, he confirms that She-Ra "will play a huge role.".
«"Adora, who becomes She-Ra, is in many ways the equal of He-Man, and in some ways even superior to him," Knight says. "She's always played a huge role in the mythology." Masters of the Universe "It's important to me, it's important to the people I love, and I understand it's important to many others. When it came out in the cinema, the reaction was… I was absolutely stunned by how strong the crowd reaction was, which means people are dying to see it on the big screen.".
As for who will play her in the post-credits scene, Knight isn't revealing any details, but insists he knows exactly "who would be right for the role, and we'll see if the opportunity presents itself.".
Galitsin is already looking forward to this opportunity.
«I had incredible fun playing this character. In fact, more than just fun. It was a deeply meaningful experience for me making this film—obviously, it’s the biggest film of my career to date, but also because of the relationships I made there and how much I love this character and the world that was created,» says the British actor. «There was an honesty to this film. It’s fun, it’s a little kitschy, but it’s just a very special project. And so the idea of returning to these characters with She-Ra is very appealing. It’s just another side of the coin in this world.« Masters of the Universe"» , which people love, and people love this character too. And so the prospect of fighting the villains of the universe alongside my sister is a very intriguing prospect.".

As for who that villain will be? Well, Hordak seems like a logical guess. But there's another scene, one that appears mid-credits, where Evil-Lynn (Alison Brie), having escaped Castle Grayskull in the midst of the final battle, quietly reappears to claim Skeletor's skull—all that remains of his mutilated body—before we hear his sinister laughter again.

But how will she restore him to his former formidable glory? Is he immortal, or are her powers simply that great?
«"Skeletor isn't immortal, of course," Knight confirms, "but he's also a kind of living, emotive skull. So, while we're leaving the door open for him to return if we're lucky enough to tell more stories in this universe, my creative partner Chris Butler and I wanted to make sure that was possible because we both love Skeletor so much. And while, yes, we want to see him kick his ass, get his ass kicked, he's just so much fun that we didn't want that to be the end of his story, if at all possible. So we're leaving the door open a little bit to the possibility of bringing him back. And if we're lucky, I have some pretty clear ideas about how we might do that.".
