The TV series "Euphoria"« Sam Levinson joins a long list of HBO shows that have made the world talk, and all three seasons of this drama have been a hit online. Sadly, the third season was cancelled following the death of Fezko actor Angus Cloud in 2023, though the final season found a way to pay tribute to the late actor. This included the controversial ending. «Euphoria» , and now Cloud's mother has reacted to her late son being included in the Emmy-winning series.
Season 3 «Euphoria» (available with an HBO Max subscription) picks up years after high school, and the stakes are high. While Cloud is no longer with us, his character, Fezo, remains alive within the show's universe and maintains his friendship with Rue, despite his imprisonment after the season two finale. The series finale went even further, including never-before-seen footage of Rue and Fezo hugging. Cloud's mother, Lisa Cloud, released a statement to TMZ regarding the final episode, saying:
The overwhelming emotional response on social media dedicated to the memory of my beloved son's beautiful soul speaks for itself.
It seems Angus Cloud's mother was pleased with Fezko's inclusion in season three. «Euphoria» , especially the archival footage in the final episode. She also told the publication that she trusted Sam Levinson to use both the character and the late actor's likeness, and that she was pleased with how he was honored in the show's final season.

According to the report, Lisa Cloud learned along with the audience that Cloud appeared in the final episode, though she suspected Sam Levinson might have had some kind of trick up his sleeve. Ultimately, it was only a few seconds of footage, but it left a powerful emotional impact, considering both the actor's real-life death and the on-screen death of Rue.

It was touching to see how in the third season «Euphoria» honored Angus Cloud, starting with Cassie and Nate's wedding episode. Even though we knew Fezko was incarcerated, in the third episode, "Ballad of the Paladin," he called Rue while she was driving. We heard her version of their conversation, including his hilarious plan to escape prison using parkour. It was a wonderful way to keep the character on the show, even if Cloud's death prevented him from filming new footage. Furthermore, the season premiere was dedicated to both Cloud and the late actor Eric Dane, who posthumously appeared in season three.
Fans definitely reacted positively to Angus Cloud's appearance in the final episode of "« Euphoria"» , and it's nice to know his mother approved of how it all ended. The series is currently available to watch in its entirety on HBO Max as part of the 2026 TV schedule.
