The anonymous New York band Adore has teamed up with director Wesley Wang to release the official music video for their single "Feel It All Again," now available via Big Beat Records/Warner Records. The unique collaboration, a three-minute animated video also known as "Violet and Marlowe Rob a Bank (soundtracked by Adore)," premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival last week.
The video was part of a collection of animated short films presented at the festival, curated by Whoopi Goldberg.
The Superman sequel, Man of Tomorrow, features Lex Luthor's battle suit.
The announcement notes that Violet & Marlowe was "proudly crafted without the use of artificial intelligence" and is the first project from Wang's new studio, Wesley Wang Media, which the 22-year-old director launched after his short film Nothing But Everything went viral on YouTube, leading to Sony acquiring the rights and Darren Aronofsky being attached to produce a feature-length version.

In a collective statement, Adore said: "This collaboration started with a cold message in private messages, and Wesley initially told us he wanted to do 'something with bunnies and carrots.' Then we saw his 2D storyboard animatic and realized he meant 'Watership Down' meets 'The Matrix.' We loved it. With this song, we were trying to convey the general feeling of loss we're currently experiencing in the world. Wesley captured the intensity of those emotions and reflected them. This film is about the present. About the consolidation of money and power. They've stolen all the carrots, and we want them back.".
Wang added, «A friend introduced me to Adore’s music, and I immediately fell in love with it. But what really made me want to work with this band was our first conversation after I contacted them. We talked about how each of us approaches our craft, and I was simply blown away by their passion for art and willingness to creatively collaborate with some random director who contacted me through Instagram. From the very beginning, it was clear that we had similar visions and long-term plans. As for the song «Feel It All Again» specifically, the melody, powerful vocals, and pulsating bass were so damn catchy that I immediately knew we had something special. I was almost shocked that such a great opportunity had just come my way, so from then on, making this film became an obvious choice for me.».
The music of the musicians behind the Adore project has been featured in the series Euphoria, Gossip Girl, and Insecure, as well as in advertising campaigns for YSL, Estée Lauder, Coca-Cola, and others. The project launched in 2023 with the single "Dancing While the World Burns," the video for which was released by NYC2, built on the site of the city's flooded ruins.
