Stars Boy Meets World« Will Friedle and Danielle Fishel have shared rare comments about Ben Savage "disappearing" from their lives six years after their falling out.
In an interview with People magazine published Wednesday, June 3, Friedle, 49, who played Eric Matthews, the older brother of Savage's character, Cory Matthews, admitted, "I want to pick up the phone so often, and I still do.".
He continued, "I know I'm shouting into the void, but I'll keep doing it. I haven't given up on my friend. I hope he comes back into our lives someday, and when he does, we'll have something to talk about.".
In addition, 45-year-old Fishel, who played Cory's girlfriend and later his wife, Topanga Lawrence, spoke out today about her relationship with Savage. The show's alum «Dancing with the Stars» explained that while she was "extremely understanding and forgiving" about Savage's reluctance to participate in their podcast about rewatching the series, «Pod Meets World» , she misses the closeness they had before.

In 2022, Friedl, Fishel, and Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter), 46, launched Pod Meets World podcast . Although Savage, 45, was initially rumored to be the fourth co-host, he ultimately declined.

In the same interview, Friedl reiterated, "He disappeared—I still want to know why. We didn't have a fight. There were no disagreements. There was no animosity. He just woke up one day and decided, 'I don't want this person in my life anymore.'".
