Charlie Puth announced on his Instagram story that he had fallen ill and was forced to cancel his Saturday concert in Orlando, Florida.
«"This is incredibly difficult for me, but I have to cancel tonight's show," Puth wrote. "I've been sick for the past few days and am now advised to rest or risk canceling more shows on this tour. Performing for you every night means everything to me, and you all deserve better. I'm heartbroken, but I'm physically unable to perform. Without my voice, I can't give you the show you all deserve. I'm so sorry, this was a tough decision, but I hope to see you all soon when I'm well again.".

Puth, a four-time Grammy Award nominee, is currently on the "Whatever's Clever!" world tour, which shares the title of his fourth studio album. The tour began on April 22 in San Diego and concludes on July 30 in Warsaw, Poland. The final remaining U.S. dates will be in Nashville on June 9, Austin on June 11, Irving, Texas on June 12, and Houston on June 13.

Horowitz, Senior Music Writer Variety , who attended Puth's April 29 concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, wrote of his performance: "If his 'Whatever's Clever!' world tour is any indication, Puth is essentially a more established artist now—not quite culturally dominant, but building a devoted fan base that grows with each release. That was clear at his set at L.A.'s Kia Forum on Wednesday night, where he played to a capacity crowd familiar with every corner of his discography, from his early days ("One Call Away") to his biggest hits ("Attention").".
