Charlie Puth made the difficult decision to cancel one of the concerts of his tour.
On Saturday, June 6, the singer-songwriter shared the news with fans on Instagram Stories, announcing that his scheduled performance in Orlando, Florida, that same day had been canceled.
«"This is very hard for me to do, but I have to cancel tonight's show," wrote 34-year-old Puth. "I've been sick for the last few days and am now advised to rest or risk canceling more shows on this tour.".
The four-time Grammy nominee emphasized that performing remains one of his greatest joys, which makes the decision even more heartbreaking.
«"Performing for you every night means everything to me, and you all deserve the best," he continued. "I'm heartbroken, but I'm physically unable to perform. Without my voice, I can't give you the show you deserve. I'm so sorry, this wasn't an easy decision, but I hope to see you all soon when I'm well again.".
Puth is currently touring the world as part of his tour Whatever's Clever!, which began in April and is scheduled to conclude on July 30 in Warsaw, Poland, with several more US dates still on the schedule.

Unfortunately, Puth isn't the only artist facing unexpected challenges this month.
Earlier that day Morgan Wallen canceled the second of his two concerts in Pittsburgh due to concerns about inclement weather. "After speaking with local authorities and my team, we have no choice but to cancel tonight's concert due to the inclement weather expected throughout the rest of the day and night," he wrote on Instagram.
Meanwhile Rosalia was forced to postpone a performance in Florida as part of her tour Lux due to what concert organizers described as a "family emergency.".
«"She is deeply sorry to disappoint her fans, but the circumstances have left her with no other choice," said a statement released by the Kaseya Center in Miami.
