An National Health Service nurse married Peter Phillips on Saturday, June 6. The lavish yet intimate ceremony took place at All Saints' Church in Kemble, a village in the Cotswolds of Gloucestershire, England.
Members of the royal family present included King Charles and Queen Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince Edward and Sophie, as well as Peter's mother, Princess Anne, and her husband, Vice-Admiral Sir Timothy Lawrence, and Peter's sister, Zara Tindall, and her husband, Mike Tindall.
For her walk down the aisle to meet 48-year-old Peter, she chose a long Emilia Wickstead gown with a long train and lace trim. Harriet, 45, completed her look for the big day with a lace veil, ivory satin heels by Jimmy Choo, and a tiara and earrings by Pragnell, the same Mayfair jeweler who designed her engagement ring.

The choice of dress designer was notable as Wickstead is a favourite of the royal family, particularly Harriet's new royal cousin, Kate.
Princess Kate can often be seen wearing designs from the West London-based atelier, including a purple coat-dress she wore in London in May 2025 to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.
Wickstead created the entire look using her signature silhouette: "a statement sheath dress with clean lines and a dramatic train.".
«"Crafted from Italian crepe, the dress and train feature an internal structure of French lace, creating a sculptural support that allows the train to take on a dramatic linear form," reads a press release detailing Harriet and Peter's wedding. "The crisp, elongated train serves as a defining design element, lending the dress timeless elegance while maintaining a distinctly modern aesthetic.".
«The dress itself features a square neckline and low back, hugging the figure and creating a sophisticated silhouette. A detachable sheer lace bodice with a high collar and sheer sleeves adds softness and volume to the overall look.
The lace bodice and long, flowing veil are certainly reminiscent of Kate's 2011 wedding dress, although the Princess of Wales's wedding dress was designed by Sarah Burton, who was creative director of Alexander McQueen at the time.

Wickstead also designed the dresses for Harriet's three bridesmaids, who became a special symbol of her and Peter's new, united family. The trio included Peter's two daughters—15-year-old Savannah and 14-year-old Isla—from his previous marriage to Autumn Kelly, as well as Harriet's 13-year-old daughter, Georgina, from her relationship with fitness instructor Antonio St. John Sperling.
As reported by Vogue, The designer even added a special touch by creating girls' dresses from the same Italian crepe she used for Harriet's dress.
Although she looked like a proper royal bride, Harriet's decision to wear a tiara at her second wedding still went against modern royal tradition.
Queen Camilla chose not to wear a tiara at her wedding to the future King Charles in 2005. Instead, she wore a white hat for the civil ceremony and a gold feathered headdress by Philippe Trecy for the religious blessing.

At her first wedding to Mark Phillips in 1973, Princess Anne wore Queen Mary's Russian Fringe Tiara—the same royal tiara Queen Elizabeth wore at her wedding to Prince Philip in 1947. When Anne married her second time, to Sir Tim Lawrence in 1992, she ditched the royal tiara but wore flowers in her hair.
