Madonna turned Times Square into a nightclub and premiered her new album with a surprise concert to kick off Pride Month: "Let's Get Gay!"«

Madonna turned New York's Times Square into a bustling club to launch her album Confessions II as part of the start of Pride Month in partnership with Grindr.

The 67-year-old Queen of Pop took to the stage on Thursday, June 4, wearing a glamorous pink corset paired with thigh-high stockings and silver lace-up boots to perform fan-favorite hits from her seminal 2005 album. Confessions on a Dance Floor , as well as introduce several new songs from the upcoming sequel.

«"Hello, gays!" Madonna said, addressing the audience. Later in the show, rainbow lights flashed as screens flanking the stage displayed photographs of prominent LGBTQIA+ figures, including Marsha P. Johnson, the transgender activist known for her pivotal role in the Stonewall uprising, artist Keith Haring, and photographer Robert Mapplethorpe, whose work, among other things, inspired Madonna to write her book. «"Sex"» , which features a series of erotic photographs taken by Steven Meisel Studio and Fabien Baron.

During the show, Madonna performed the songs "Hung Up," "Get Together," and "I Love New York" from her 2005 album. She also performed "I Feel So Free," "Bring Your Love," and "Love Sensation" from her upcoming follow-up.

The song "Bring Your Love" features Sabrina Carpenter and was released after Madonna's performance at Carpenter's Coachella concert in April 2026.

At one point, the pop icon recreated one of the album's promotional photos. Confessions II , in which she holds a column between her legs.

Madonna's boyfriend, Akim Morris, and her 20-year-old daughter, Mercy, were present at the performance.

Confessions II , continuation album Confessions on a Dance Floor 2005, marks a reunion with original producer Stuart Price. The 2005 album previously won a Grammy Award for Best Electronic/Dance Album and featured the hits "Hung Up" and "Sorry.".

The song "Hung Up" notably uses a sample from ABBA's 1979 track "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)," which gained renewed attention in the early 2000s both for its Madonna sample and for its appearance on the film soundtrack. «Mamma Mia!» in 2008.

On April 30, Madonna released the album's first single, "Bring Your Love." The album is scheduled for release on July 3.
