The Austin Powers star attended the 2026 Canadian Film Awards in Toronto on Sunday, where he was honored with the prestigious Oscar for Film Icon.

Appearing on the red carpet at the CBC Television Centre, the 62-year-old actor looked dapper in a classic black suit, white shirt, and dark tie. Despite the controversy among fans, Mike appeared relaxed and in good spirits as he accepted one of the highest awards of his career.
The Canadian Academy presented him with the Academy Icon Award in recognition of his remarkable influence on film, television, and comedy over several decades. The emotional actor was visibly moved as he took the stage. "I had a whole speech written about how much I love Canada, but I suspect some of you are tired of hearing that," he told the audience.
At one point, Mike fought back tears while paying tribute to his late parents. He thanked them "for moving to Canada and for emphasizing the importance of having a carefree life."
